Access 2010 FAQ

How do I create a cascading combo box on a web form in Access 2010?

To create a cascading combo box on a web form, you have to use web macros instead of VBA code. On the Office.com web site, you can find this example that shows how to create cascading combo boxes using only macros:

http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/templates/CT010142865.aspx?av=ZAC#ai:TC010288086|

That sample includes both VBA and macro examples.

I've also included a quick download sample here using an Access 2010 web form that you can download and study. When you select a car Make from the first combo box, you'll see the corresponding correct values displayed in the Model combo box.
