Access 2007 FAQ
Can you put both a picture and text on a command button?
With Access 2007, the answer is finally YES! The ability to have both a picture and text on a command button has been a long standing request by Access developers.
Open your form in Design view and open the Property Sheet for the command button. On the Format or All tab assign a caption to the command button. Next, click the (...) button on the Picture property and browse for a picture to display on the command button. Finally, look for the property called Picture Caption Arrangement, as seen in the following screenshot.
The default option, No Picture Caption, means Access only displays one or the other. If you select one of the other options, Access displays both the caption text and picture on the same button. The other options - Genral, Top, Bottom, Left, and Right - determine where Access places the text in relation to the picture. Try out some of these options and see what works best for your situation. Have fun with it!
